Job Title: Wireless Connectivity Application Engineer

Qualifications :
 
BS/MS (preferred) in EE, CE, CS or equivalent is required with 5+ years of work experience.
 
Must have 2+ years of experience in the FAE relevant field
 
Knowledge of WLAN, Bluetooth, FM/NFC(preferred) is required
 
Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required
 
Experiences with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, LP/Agilent N4010 are required
 
Knowledge of hardware schematic and layout (preferred) review is required
 
Experience with Linux kernel and driver development is preferred
 
Experience with Android, Windows is preferred
 
Experience with SDIO/USB/PCIe host interface is preferred
 
Must have a proven track record of getting design wins to production with the ability to proactively communicate with the various BU and R&D team resources to solve a variety of technical issues related to hardware design, software integration, and system performance under different use cases.
 
 
Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and Core Engineering team with positive attitude.
 
Description :
 
 
Field Application Engineer to support various Mobile projects (Cellular phone, Tablets, Netbooks) for Marvell connectivity products including WiFi, Bluetooth, and FM (preferred).
 
Work proactively the customer engineering teams to find solutions to customer reported problems and manage the customer timelines and expectations.
 
Should be a customer advocate and must also balance the relationship between customer requests and internal engineering milestones and deliverables.
 
1) Support WiFi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth, FM and NFC subsystem on Linux/Android platforms
 
2) Willing to take oversea travel
 
3) Ability to work on power consumption measurements, RF test measurements
 
4) Support customers’ porting/debugging on-site if needed: Android UI, framework, and applications to enable connectivity features on mobile devices is preferred
